Independent Canterbury locksmith
Meet the founder
Morgan trained, qualified and built his reputation here in Canterbury, and still does the work himself. The standard is set on every single job: non destructive entry first, a fixed price agreed before any tool comes out, and quality hardware from manufacturers insurers actually recognise. That's how MC Locksmiths has earned hundreds of 5 star reviews from neighbours across Kent.
Every job is carried out personally by Morgan to a properly qualified standard. industry best practice, City & Guilds qualifications, DBS checked, fully insured with £5m public liability, and backed by 12 months warranty on parts and labour. Lockouts, lock changes, uPVC repairs, high-security upgrades and post-burglary re-secures are all handled by the same independent locksmith.
Based in Canterbury and covering the wider Kent area, Morgan keeps response times tight, typically inside 30 minutes for genuine emergencies, day or night. The van is fully stocked, so most jobs are diagnosed, repaired and secured in a single visit by a locksmith you can trust in your home or premises.
When you call MC Locksmiths, you reach Morgan directly, not a switchboard. You get an honest idea of timing and price up front, he turns up when he says he will, and if anything looks different on site he explains it and re-quotes before a single tool is touched. That's the standard the business is built on.
A reputation, earned locally
Hundreds of verified reviews from homeowners, landlords, letting agents and businesses across Kent. Honest advice, premium workmanship and the kind of service people actually recommend to their neighbours. That's the only way an independent locksmith builds a name in a community like this one.
